Dr. Brock Husby is a Lean consultant, speaker, & researcher. He was an Associate Vice President at Baylor Scott & White Health, where he was an integral part of the development & deployment of a holistic Lean approach
Brock was one of first three AHRQ grant-funded Industrial Engineers at Denver Health & Hospital System setting up their Lean program, and the results of these initial efforts were demonstrated operational expense savings of $124,000,000 (as of 2013), as well as Denver Health becoming the first healthcare delivery organization to win the Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence (2011).
Brock was a Process Assurance & Corrective Actions Engineer for the Space Shuttle Program at the Kennedy Space Center, a management consultant for the automotive service parts industry, and a Technical Assistant at Car and Driver Magazine.
Dr. Husby holds a BS.E., MS.E., and Ph.D. in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
